Notification Preferences

The Notification Preferences tab allows you to view and manage the preferences associated with email notifications sent by the Cadence Support site.
Cadence Support email notifications include:

Setting Notification preferences is a four-step process:

  1. Select Products
  2. Select Email Format
  3. Select Document Types & Frequency
  4. Select Software Updates (optional)

Select Products 

The Select Products area allows you to choose individual Products that will be used to personalize the email notifications that you receive from the Cadence Support site. Click the Edit Product List button to change your list of preferred Products. The New Product Notification can be enabled by checking the box near the Send me email notifications about new product releases. You must select at least one Product in your Product preferences to receive this notification.

Select Email Format 

Choose either the HTML or Text email format depending upon your preference and the formats that your email client supports.

Select Document Types & Frequency 

The Select Document Types & Frequency area allows you to choose individual Document Types will be used to personalize the Support site Content Updates notification that you receive from the Cadence Support site. Click the individual check boxes near each item to change your list of preferred Document Types.

Additionally, you can specify how frequently you wish to receive notifications for each type of content. Note that you will receive no more than one Cadence Support Content Updates notification on any single day.

Whenever Critical Troubleshooting information matching your Product preferences becomes available, it will be sent to you on a daily basis.

Select Software Updates (optional) 

If you would like to receive the New Base Release and New Update Release notifications, you must choose your preferred Releases. Click the Edit Release List button to begin.

The list that displays initially is the list of all Releases . You can view Releases matching your previously entered Product preferences, by clicking the View release list for selected products in notification preferences link. For each Release stream, choose the appropriate version and hardware platform items. When a new Base or Update Release becomes available, we will compare its information against your chosen Release preferences and notify you accordingly.

Select CCR Notification 

Choose this option if you wish to recieve notification when a Cadence Change Request (CCR) filed for you has been fixed.
