My Alerts

The My Alerts area shows a list of Alerts in any of the following areas:


Critical Troubleshooting Information Alerts 

The Critical Troubleshooting Information Alerts tab displays links to Troubleshooting documents matching your Notification product preferences that have been deemed especially important by Cadence Customer Support. The list of documents shown represents the same content that is sent to you via email in the Critical Troubleshooting Information notification. If you have never established Notification product preferences, this area will have no content.

Alerts are shown in the order they were published, with the most recent alert appearing at the top of the list.

You may remove individual alerts from this list by selecting the checkbox near an alert and pressing the Remove Alert button. Removing an alert does not affect the underlying document, but solely its presence in your personal alerts list. You may mark individual alerts as read from this list by selecting the checkbox near an alert and pressing the Mark as read button. Alternatively if you read any alert, it is automatically marked as read (unbold text).

Host ID/Reference Key Alerts 

The Host ID/Reference Key Alerts tab displays any entitlement-related alerts associated with your account. If you have any previously entered Host IDs or Reference Keys that are about to expire, they will be shown here. Click on the individual Host ID or Reference Key to see the details of that item.

Alerts are shown in the order they were published, with the most recent alert appearing at the top of the list. An alert is generated 30 days prior to the expiry of Host ID or Reference Key.

You may remove individual alerts from this list by selecting the checkbox near an alert and pressing the Remove Alert button.You may mark individual alerts as read from this list by selecting the checkbox near an alert and pressing the Mark as read button. Alternatively if you read any alert, it is automatically marked as read (unbold text).

Software Update Alerts 

The Software Update Alerts tab displays a list of new Base and Update Releases matching your Notification Software Update preferences. The list of Releases shown represents the same content that is sent to you via email in the New Base Releases and New Update/Hotfix Releases notifications. If you have never established Software Update preferences, this area will have no content.

To obtain licenses for any of the Releases on the list, click on the Order License link from the Software menu of the site.

You may remove individual alerts from this list by selecting the checkbox near an alert and pressing the Remove Alert button.You may mark individual alerts as read from this list by selecting the checkbox near an alert and pressing the Mark as read button.
